Information for teachers

Thanks to SA’s public libraries, teacher-librarians, teachers and students can access many of the Challenge’s titles as eBooks – for free!

Our eBooks can be borrowed anytime and are automatically returned with no late fees.

(note our service is NOT compatible with Kindle e-Readers)

Please note:

  • There are no copyright issues with regards to your students accessing PRC titles either in the classroom or outside it
  • We have a ‘self registration’ page at where students can sign up for digital library membership – this gives them access to all our statewide digital collections, including eBooks
  • As our eBook collection also contains adult content, we recommend that individual parental consent be gained before you or your school encourages any student who is under 18 years of age to sign up for digital library membership for the purpose of accessing PRC eBooks. This consent could be gained in the annual consent form that many schools provide to parents. Please ensure you read our Acceptable Use Policy for Library Customers
